Text The Testimony
Isa liii. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Dan. ix. 24 To finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.
26 After three score and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself.
Zech. xiii. 1 There shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.
Matt. i. 21 Thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Matt. xx. 28
See
Mark x. 45.
The Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Matt. xxvi. 28
See
Mark xiv. 24.
This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Luke i. 68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David.
76 Thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
77 to give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins.
Luke ii. 11 Unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Luke xxii. 19 He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
John i. 29 Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
John iii. 14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John v. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
John vi. 27 Labor not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you.
32 My Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
35 I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
37 Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
39 Of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
53 Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 He that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead; he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
John x. 7, 9 I am the door of the sheep. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10 I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John xii. 24 Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.
John xiv. 6 I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.
John xv. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John xvii. 2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Acts iv. 11 This is the stone that was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts v. 30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Acts x. 36 God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all.)
43 Through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
Acts xiii. 23 Of this man's seed hath God, according to his promise, raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:
38 through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
39 and by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Acts xv. 11 We believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
Acts xvi. 31 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Acts xx. 28 Feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Rom. iii. 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.
Rom. iv. 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
Rom. v. 6 When we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 Scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemics, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 We also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift: for if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man Jesus, Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
18 Therefore, as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 that as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom. vi. 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death; that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.
9 Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once.
22 Now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom. viii. 3 God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died.
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Text The Testimony
Rom. x. 9 If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom. xiv. 9 To this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
1 Cor. i. 30 Of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.
1 Cor. iii. 11 Other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1 Cor. v. 7 Even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us.
1 Cor. vi. 11 But ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus.
20 Ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 Cor. xv. 3 Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.
2 Cor. v. 14 The love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
19 God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
21 He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Gal. iii. 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.
Gal. iv. 4 When the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law.
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
Eph. i. 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.
Eph. ii. 13 Now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16 and that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby.
Eph. v. 2 Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.
23 Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
25, 26 Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word;
27 that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Col. i. 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
20 Having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself;
27 Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Col. ii. 13 You, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses.
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
1 Thess. v. 9 God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
1 Tim. i. 1, 15. Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope; this is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
1 Tim. ii. 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
2 Tim. i. 1, 9 Salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Titus ii. 13, 14 The great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Heb. i. 3 When he had by himself purged our sins.
Heb. ii. 3, 9 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation? We see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
10 To make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
14 As the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil:
15 and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
18 In that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
Heb. v. 9 Being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.
Heb. vii. 22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
27 Who needeth not daily, as those high-priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once; when he offered up himself.
28 For the law maketh men high-priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
Heb. ix. 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh;
14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high-priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 for then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world; but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
28 Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many.
Heb. x. 10 We are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
12 This man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
14 by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
17,18 Their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh.
Heb. xii. 24 To Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
Heb. xiii. 11 The bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high-priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
1 Peter ii. 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
1 Peter iii. 18 Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.
1 Peter iv. 1 Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh.
1 John i. 7 The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 John ii. 2 He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
1 John iii. 5, 8 Ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us.
1 John iv. 9 God sent his only-begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
14 We have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
1 John v. 11 This is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
20 We know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true; and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Rev. i. 5 Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father.
Rev. v. 9 Thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Rev. vii. 14 These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God.
